There is a $25 reservation fee to reserve your spot for a newborn session as limited sessions take place each month.

It’s no surprise that I love photographing newborns…I love everything about their tiny hands to cute lips! Newborn sessions typically take 2-3 hours in length. Newborn sessions are done before the first two weeks of the babies life to capture these sleepy, adorable moments. Most of the sessions, the baby will be photographed in their “birthday suit” or swaddled. The studio is kept very warm to ensure a cozy baby. Please bring a pacifier to the session, (even if you plan not to use one, it can be very helpful). Newborns are all different and unique in their own way, with each session I like to push my creativity and style, allowing each session to be different from the last.

Newborn sessions can be done in my portrait studio in Royal Oak, MI or at the comfort of your home weekday mornings and early afternoons.

If choosing a studio style session, I can control the environment more in studio. The session is more stylized and can include studio style portraits with parents and siblings if you choose. I have a gorgeous collection of beautifully made props including hats, headbands, pants/rompers, fabrics, wraps, quilts that are included in your session fee to use. I stylize each newborn session, you won’t need to supply any props/clothing.

If choosing an in home newborn session, I am a natural light photographer & will choose areas with nice light to photograph the baby. I do bring props & accessories with me to your home for newborn sessions. You won’t need to supply anything, I bring it all with me. When I travel to your home for sessions, I like to capture personal details in the nursery along with documenting moments with you and your baby in your home environment and then photograph the baby.
